Telaga Tujuh (Seven Pools) Langkawi

The fresh water springs that forms seven majestic springs in Telaga Tujuh (seven pools) of Langkawi is a sight not to be missed.
Location
It is located at some 45 kilometers from Kuah in Langkawi of Malaysia. .
Description
A fresh stream gushes down from a height of about 90 meters through a series of seven natural pools. The rocks here are extremely slippery and so if you wish to climb the rocks be a bit careful. Every time you move higher from the lower fall you unveil a distinct beauty that is to take you r breath away.
The path that leads to the top of the hill is less than a mile but it is quiet strenuous. But if you muster a bit of courage and have a little amount of care the place is to give you an unique pleasure.
A handful number of exotic plants that grow around the area add to the beauty of the picturesque landscape. As you move through the surrounding rainforest areas unravel the hidden charisma of the place.
Legends
Locals of Langkawi believe that fairies descended down to this place to have a bath. It is for them that the water of the springs is blessed wit ha healing power that relieves innumerable.

Attractions
Enjoy the seven pools whose water flow into the other creating a beautiful picture. If you manage for yourself a cable car, ride to the top of the Gunung Mat Chincang. As you ride along the entire track, see and enjoy the Telaga Waterfalls.
Watch the playful monkeys jumping from one tree to the other or watch the giant squirrels swirling here and there. Listen to the call of an orange beaked hornbill that hides itself behind the leaves.
In addition to this have a great time enjoying the diving competition.
